'Bud, Not Buddy' Response Ch 15-16
1) Bud thinks that the room used to be a girl’s room who is now dead beacause Miss Thomas told him that the girl was gone and in Bud's rule book, rule 28 is "Gone = Dead!". Therefore he thinks that she is dead.
2)I am sure that Herman E. Calloway is not happy to have Bud at his home. I say this because on pg 179 it says, "You've got the rest of them fooled, but not me. There's something about you that I don't like." This shows it all.
3)On page 185, Miss Thomas says, "I can’t believe you, you’ll take care of any stray dog wandering through this neighborhood, but when it comes to a child all of a sudden you have no sympathy." By saying this, she means that he is willing to care of anything except this child. He thinks that Bud is a fraud and doesn't like him. Herman E. Calloway lets everyone else in the house take care of him.
4)On page 191 Eddie asks Bud: “….are you attached to the suitcase, or is it the things inside that are important?” Eddie asks Bud this because they don't want him to be carrying such a raggedy suitcase everywhere. Bud replies that he is attached to the things inside it hence Eddie gave him his alto saxophone case as Bud's new suitcase.
5)The band members give Bud the name 'Sleepy LaBone'. There are two main parts to this, sleepy and la bone. They used the words 'sleepy' in there because Bud woke up at half past twelve in the afternoon and la bone as he is very skinny.

Yanomamis
This is quite an interesting tribe. It is one of the biggest tribes in South America. Sometime in the past, the yanomamis found out that there was gold underground. They started to cut down trees and dig underground. People called this the gold rush.
